Saturday, August 28 | Sunnydale Backpack Drive | 10 am - 1 pm
Sunnydale is a community of about 200 families living in townhouse complexes in the Lakeshore Village area of Waterloo. Many are new arrivals to Canada and/or single moms and kids. On August 28 we'll host a BBQ at Sunnydale and have a backpack give-away. Here's how you can help: buy a backpack and school supplies and put them on the table in the atrium beginning July 4. Join us on August 28 to fill the backpacks and help with the BBQ.
This is a family friendly activity for adults, youth and kids of all ages.
