I ask for prayers for my brother. He lost his job at the beginning of November due to the company he was working for going out of business. He is the sole income provider for his family with two young children. He was hoping to have a concrete job going into the new year. Unfortunatley at this time he does not have anything. I ask for your prayers that a solid job position and offer can come through for him very soon!

My friend's fiancé committed suicide mid November and the devastation that has take hold over this family is overwhelming. My friend is has 2 children with autism and they don't know really how to deal with their emotions. All 3 of them are going through grieving but on top of this, she stands to lose her home due to a will issue. My friend is trying to reach out for counselling but she feels like she doesn't want to talk to anyone she doesn't know. I have tried to do my best to help her, including praying to God and having her accept Jesus into her life. She was hesitant but still doesn't believe God will help. Please pray for salvation for my friend and her 2 kids, along with help her financial matter and healing; especially at this time of the year. I thank you in advance for your prayers. God bless.

Good day, everyone! God bless all who are reading this. I am writing here to ask you to please pray over the lives of my brother and his fiance, who I will keep anonymous. My brother is a great man who does not know the love of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Despite this, he has been blessed with so many fruits within his heart. He's kind, he's gentle, he's generous with his time and money, and would lay his life down for anyone he loves. He has so many prospects to be excited in the near future--marriage, kids, and new highs in his career. Like all of us, he is imperfect and struggles with Satan's temptation of evil and lies--only he has no idea how untrue and vile these things are that exist in his life. Lies that his mistakes (past, present and future), will define him and that they will define his path. Feelings of not being enough, or that he doesn't deserve where he is. Right now, I can feel the love of Jesus starting to work in my brother's life--like a gear turning. His fiance has also suffered greatly these past few years with loss, grief and anger. Despite this, their love and commitment to each other has reigned over it all.
Please pray over my brother and his fiance that Jesus Christ, through his love and sacrifice on the cross, would deliver these two from the evil and lies that possess their life. That God may shine a new light in their life, bless their marriage, career and the prospect of parenthood. May He make Himself known in my brother and his fiance's life so that if either of them were willing and came knocking, He would open the door and pour out His Spirit upon them. That my brother may know that One Man's suffering declares the he IS enough, from everlasting to everlasting. In their heart and minds, as it is in heaven. In Jesus' Mighty Name, may they be healed and freed from evil's chains, Amen.

I was in an abusive relationship and situation, he went to jail and I remained renting a room with 3 others...now he's at the halfway st across the street practically, and will be coming home here in January. I have to move before that. It is so not a good idea to have me here when he gets out. I've been in the housing list for 12 years and I still wait! I'm going to be homeless with my dog and cat!

I'm 54 and I have been holding onto faith and hope that something is going to give...here I am instead....afraid, alone and anxiety turning to panic attacks.

I am asking for as many people I can get to pray for my daughter brittany tomorrow. Britt has down syndrome and has already had 3 heart surgeries. She is now going to have her 4th. We are not sure where or when it's going to be. If it's only her valve that need replaced probably can be st marys. If it more than just the valve toronto. I am praying for a miracle and it will just be the valve. I am a single mom and need your help for her. Thankyou to any one who reads this.

My amazing, kind, and strong sister-in-law lost her baby at 35 weeks of gestation and had to say good-bye today. Her and her fiance are not Christ followers. We pray that God will bring healing to his people and draw them close to Him in their moments of sorrow and distress. Amen.

I found out last night that my brother Dane MacKendrick, 60 years old, has been diagnosed with fairly advanced stomach cancer. Dane is suffering from pain and has difficulty eating, so he is on a liquid diet. He is supposed to meet with his doctor today to discuss next steps in his treatment. Dane and his wife Lisa live in Northwest Florida.
Thank you very much for your prayers. God is good and He is the Great Physician.

Please pray for my 35 year old son. He had a tough year last year, and moved back home 6 months ago to get back on his feet. He has a decent part time job commuting to Toronto. He has some mental health issues with anxiety, and sometimes turns to alcohol when he is feeling overwhelmed. Please pray that he can find an affordable apartment soon and that he agrees to get help for his alcohol addiction. Thank you in advance for praying for him.

please pray for healing and encouragement for our daughter 36 year old daughter, Beckei -- she suffered a functional stroke two weeks ago and is in hospital with limited movement on her left side -- she is very sad and discouraged as progress is slow and she longs to be home with her family, husband Brandon, 5 year old daughter, Charlotte, and 2 year old Jack -- this is a tough time for them all please pray as Jesus leads you... but today especially that Beckei would experienc the peace and joy of Jesus that only He can provide -- and a glimmer of hope for her, right now it feels so dark and she feels very defeated

Your prayers for Steven, Creeksider who is disabled, in a wheelchair, diagnosed with life ending cancer, was able to undergo radiation treatments to try to help. He is awaiting transfer to a new facility but now in isolation due to COVID risk. He continues to ask for prayer and he amazes me with his courage. I touch base with him everyday and pray for him. I keep falling so often into the sin of pornography that I’m starting to wonder if I will ever break free from it. I pray, ask for prayers, sometimes fast, and tell myself to get up and fight again, only to fall back into it. My spirituality is dying, my soul is dying—what am I supposed to do? When I decide to fight, believe me, I don’t want to commit this sin anymore. Why can't I break free from it?

My mom is in a home and is 94 with dementia. I had to place her in a long term care facility as I burnt out and could not look after her anymore. Lately, my mom has been refusing to take her medication no matter what the nurses do to help her take them. She is also not drinking enough water and will not listen to anyone. With her not taking her meds she has become abusive and angry. It hurts to see her go through this and I feel like a failure as I took care of my mom for so long and it feels like I have abandoned her. I just see her sitting in her room and just withering away. I ask for prayers for God to help her take her meds and to drink more fluids to be able to function properly. Your prayers are appreciated. God Bless!

To fill you in on prayer requests, I'm having some really bad headaches and vertigo. This could be medication changes or something called idiopathic intercranial hypertension (IIH). They have scheduled several tests to rule things out. The tests themselves sound scary. Primarily, the lumbar puncture done to diagnose IIH accurately. I ask for continued thoughts and prayers as we go thru this very difficult time. Daily function right now is not easy. Thankfully i do have my mother in law here most days to assist with the kids while my husband is at work.

Back in July or August I asked for prayer for my nephew as he got an infection in his heart called endocarditis. He and his mom went through a very stressful time in the hospital, etc. He was sent home with meds going into his arm. Your prayers helped and God answered as the endocarditis is gone! Praise Jesus! He didn’t have to have open heart surgery like before!
But there are 5 lymph nodes in his lungs and now they know he has Classic Hodgkin Lymphoma! One has grown to 10 cm!. My nephew is 21 years old and been through a lot in his life Pray for wisdom on what treatment to get. They are thinking something not the norm. Something that wouldn’t be hard on his heart. We know our God heals and answers prayer and this cancer can be gone in Jesus’ name!
Pray also for our family we will all put Jesus # 1…everyone would humble themself before God and surrender their lives to Christ, that our family would become close, that God would restore what the enemy has ruined or tried to destroy. For life to the full!
Pray for my health. My gallbladder surgery was cancelled for now.

I have moved into a new townhouse complex as my existing complex is slated for teardown. The new complex is feeling like it is not my new home and when I got home this evening, there was a commotion outside and yelling. There were over 15 people arguing and calling each other names, which kept escalating...I seen one of them had a baseball bat. I called 911 to let them know of the potential of someone getting seriously hurt or worse. I chose to remain anonymous and I didn't want the police to come to my door and have the world know that I called. There are police cruisers sitting in the parking lot now and I don't know what more is to come of this. This is my 4th night here and I don't want to be here anymore! I ask for prayers that this doesn't happen again and that my new home becomes a place of peace. I just want safety for everyone and blessing for all. I also pray that I don't have the neighbours know that I called bringing unwanted attention to me. I thank you in advance for your prayers. God bless.

I am also seeking PT employment as a Tutor with 7 years experience in tutoring and 16-20 years as an ECE teacher.
Please pray for a VERY PT tutoring position as I am focusing in on the safe affordable housing in order to prevent homelessness.
I once started a homeless shelter for 8 men with a philanthropist Dr paying the total rent! This IS possible! ALL things are possible with God!

Concerned Friend
This morning opened with terrible news from a fellow Creekside attendee. My friend Steven, who has live his live confined to a wheelchair since his youth, informed me that he has been hospitalized since early Sept. He is in critical care as the doctors informed him of his cancer diagnosis which is life ending. I am deeply concerned and ask that you all pray for Steven as has been a welcoming face every Sunday for many years who waits in the atrium, after a long transit commute, before 2nd service. He's stated that he's finding it hard to stay optimistic. One of his dreams was to travel and he often spoke about the promise of technology, eg. the new apple glasses, that could help with that dream. I will attempt to see him this week, being a friend/coach like the movie/sermon taught us this week, and look at way of raising some funds to help him in any way maybe even to grant him his wish of virtual travel thru those apple glasses. I pray that God puts his loving arms around him and the holy spirit be there to comfort him in this difficult time. Any prayer/help you can think of is welcomed as I know he would appreciate knowing the congregation is praying for him. Its hard to understand why these things happen to someone who is helpless but I will trust in the lord. Thank you for reading this. God Bless.
