Creekside partners with Kitigoma Community Church through iTeams Canada.

DISCIPLESHIP & EVANGELISM  

Under the leadership of Pastor Godfrey Munage, KCC provides weekly Sunday services, children’s ministry, small groups and youth programs. Their vision is to continue to multiply and disciple followers of Jesus in their region.

EDUCATION

God’s Gift School provides K-7 education and a daily lunch for over 220 children.  Children in Kitigoma are able to receive quality faith-based education at an affordable cost, and each year sees another cohort of P7 students successfully passing the exams to be able to enter Secondary school.   

OUTREACH & MEDICAL CLINICS

KCC actively reaches out into their surrounding community with practical help and spiritual care for people in need.  Semi-annual free clinics are offered that provide basic medical care and attention to elderly and families.  

CLEAN WATER

In 2024, a new venture has launched to manufacture and sell high quality bio-sand water filters to families and groups in the region.  These amazing filters will last 20 years properly maintained, and can purify up to 60 litres of water per day.  Thanks to support and subsidies through our partners FEAT Africa and EnviroStewards here in Canada, the filters are accessible and affordable.  Clean drinking water is a game changer for many people in that region, and we are excited to be a part of making that more easily available than ever!
